Her professional healthcare experience was gained at the Pharmacy Department of the Hospital Universitari Vall d’Hebron, where she was in charge of the pharmacoepidemiology unit. She specialised in pharmacoepidemiological and pharmacoeconomic studies and has a wide knowledge of statistical software and Business Intelligence tools.
From her Deep knowledge of how hospital pharmacy works, Elena is an expert in the creation of reports and scorecards adapted to the needs of the healthcare organizations.
She coordinates research projects financed by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation and the Ministry of Health, and is the author of various publications and scientific communications in the framework of research in healthcare services and health economy.
