She obtained her PhD at the Spanish Center for Cancer Research (CNIO), where she investigated potential new therapies for lung cancer.
Master’s degree in Biostatistics and Bioinformatics.
She taught Physiology, Anatomy and Biophysics at the European University of Madrid.
She spent four years as a postdoctoral researcher at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ, Heidelberg), studying the impact of bile acid metabolism on the immune microenvironment of liver tumors.
As a consequence of her research activity, she authored several publications in scientific journals with a high impact factor.
