Miguel Ángel González Prieto

Computer Engineering degree from the University of Vigo, he has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare sector. He combines a strong technical foundation with project management and operational leadership in hospital environments. He began his career as a Java developer and obtained official Sun Microsystems certification.
For the past 15 years, he has served as Project Manager for the implementation of Silicon’s Pharmacy software within SERGAS (Galician Health Service). He has led deployments across multiple hospitals, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing both functional and technical planning.
He has been responsible for functional analysis, system configuration, user training, and go-live support. He has also ensured proper system integration and provided specialized post-implementation support.
In recent years, he has also taken on the role of Regional Manager, overseeing regional operations and ensuring alignment between clients, internal teams, and corporate objectives. He is currently part of Asserta, contributing his expertise in project management and technical support with a rigorous, customer-focused approach.
